you are invited to attend Awaken’s 1st base camp!
All those who dare to summit Mount Everest have to spend time at base camp before they make their climb.
It’s not that they lack the right tools for their expedition, rather their bodies aren’t prepared for the rigors of the journey. The air is simply too thin to make the climb even with oxygen tanks. Their bodies need to acclimatize to the thin air by doubling the count of red blood cells they have which will be used to cary what little oxygen exists on the mountain to their vital organs. If climbers fail to acclimatize to the thin air, they will die quickly on their ascent. So in order to prepare for their climb, they spend time at base camp to let their bodies make more red blood cells.
Pastors and ministry leaders need to spend time at base camp as well.
Sure we have all the right tools for leading others in ministry, but our souls need time to acclimatize to the harsh ministry environments that we are exposed to. Sin is as toxic to us as pastors and ministry leaders as the thin air is to climbers. If we don’t spend time at a spiritual base camp, sin’s toxicity will begin depleting our souls of the life giving Spirit that we need to lead others.
Therefore, I want to invite you to the first BASE CAMP for pastors and ministry leaders!
Awaken Ministry is hosting a quarterly Base Camp for all pastors and ministry leaders in the Denver Area in order to acclimatize our soul’s for the journey of leading others in ministry.
We will spend our time doing these things:

Deepening our relationships with each other.

Praying for one another and each other’s ministry.

Eating with each other.
-
Discussing a relevant ministry topic together.
-
Receiving practical ministry help on the topic you can apply to your ministry that day.
To attend Awaken’s BASE CAMP, please fill out the sign up form below. If you are bringing your staff team, please have them sign up individually.
